This is what happened when TV Patrol entertainment anchor and reporter, Gretchen Fullido shocked many people after she filed cases against ABS-CBN News executive Cheryl Favila and news segment producer Maricar Asprec. Gretchen filed the complaint as she claimed that she experienced being taken advantage of the two newsroom executives. The journalist also sued Ces Drilon, Marie Lozano and others for libel after she claimed that they besmirched her reputation.
This news shocked many people as this is a really serious matter. There are celebrities who already aired out their opinions regarding the case. One of the showbiz figures who supported her is Ogie Diaz, a comedian and manager who has been in the industry for years.

In his Facebook post, Ogie also known as Mama Ogs to his followers, answered questions from hus fans. One of the questions asked him about his opinions regarding the case that Gretchen filed. He claimed, “I am for Gretchen. At naniniwala ako sa kanya. So, ipaglaban mo ang iyong karapatan, Gretchen!”.
Following this answer, it seemed Ogie Diaz also gave some hint about his personal experience with Favila and then News and Current Affairs head, Maria Ressa. A question asked him why he left Umagang Kay Ganda. He said that he did not leave the show but the two kicked him out of Umagang Kay Ganda where he formerly gave his blind items.
“Hindi ako umalis. Tinanggal ako nu’ng Oct. 2010 ni Maria Ressa (head ng news and current affairs that time) at nu’ng EP noon na si Cheryl Favila (na idinemanda ni Gretchen Fullido), dahil ang rason nila, tumatanggap daw ako ng PR envelopes sa mga pinupuntahan kong showbiz presscons.
